Abstract:
This study was undertaken to evaluate variables that contribute to the full satisfaction of mobile phone users (customers) by analyzing business management models used by present service providing companies (operators) in Sri Lanka and study on the impact of latest developments of mobile communication industry on the socioeconomic system in Sri Lanka. OchenShiller at e. argues that mobile communications industry is still under-researched here he refers to technical and engineering research and on value added services to the customer, and therefore this research is particularly important because it focuses on mobile phone user satisfaction in depth( specially in the socio-economic and demography perspective) as opposed to customer satisfaction in general. According to Teye and leclerk (1998) satisfaction is vital for ensuring sustainability of the industry. It is argued that operators should offer exceptional and satisfying products and services taking socioeconomic and demographic data into consideration seriously in strategic business plan modeling. It was found when learning of present models.
