dc.description.abstract |
Usually web search engine is a software system that is designed to search for information on the World Wide
Web and provides links to relevant web sites. General search engines provide URL list according to user’s search
query. However, it does not provide good understanding and time frame regarding the information. People may
suffer with irrelevant search results. With those search results people usually do not get a good idea about the time
range of the incident took place. In this paper we have provided a search engine prototype to display search results
according to timeline with relevant to user’s search query. In addition, search results are clustered along the time
and ranked based on the keyword occurrences of search query. |
