Abstract:
This project is about creating a Metaverse space for Kittums with a link to NFTs,
where the buyers or users can experience the virtual space of Kittumsverse. World—building
techniques are used in the project to develop Kittumsverse virtual universe. Based on these
World—building techniques, there are logic, history, base structure and laws that the users can
experience. Also, the users can create their own experience based on the world's laws. A project
to celebrate inclusivity, diversity, and creativity in this world. The foundation of this project is a
creature named Kittum that helps and balances human desires. These Kittums are born of
human desires and die when those desires no longer exist. A sound story lore is developed to
add these elements to the world—building on Kittumsverse. According to this story lore, when the
Kittums are born, they look very similar to a young-adult female human. This project outlines the
character—building process of determining this base female human version of the Kittums. During
the process, the sociological, ecological, and geographic factors of Thurium and the Kittums’
habitat. After picking the cultural, geographical and structural elements from the story and the
world—building, the visual representation was started by sketching and prototyping the ideas.
Moreover, this project describes the experiments, research, and thinking pooled into making a 3D
model of a functionally plausible new universe and a base character. As Thurium island is an
anti-gravity environment, it was imperative to conduct various experiments on the behaviour of
matter on Thurium. Therefore, the project outlines the various experiments, research on
anti—gravity environments and the rationale behind the 3D models of both the island and the
character. Origin, context, Ecologies. World—building is the part of the writing process that sets up
where your story takes place. World—building lays the groundwork for the characters to develop,
providing the stage for the creations to perform. Conclusively, the approaches taken to ensure
the technical suitability of the SD models for the metaverse and an NFT collection are also
explained in this project.
