dc.description.abstract The paper presents the results of large scale physical model investigations on the hydraulic performance of rock armoured rubble mound breakwaters. The energy dissipation characteristics of conventional trapezoidal layered breakwaters and berm breakwaters, both statically and dynamically stable are presented. The hydraulic performance of the structures are evaluated as a function of the incident wave parameters. en_US
