An Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system is an integrated computing system
designed to automate the flow of material, information, and resources across all functions
in an enterprise, with a central database". An ERP system is used as a magic formula by
organizations aiming to centralize and streamline their organization's processes for better
performance. However many have displayed serious doubts about the success of such
attempts owing to the insignificant return on the massive investments. |
